I officially leave for uganda in less than 2 weeks. that is 10 days of the united states, and then “hello africa”. what can I say…I’m joyous. Reality won’t hit until I set my foot upon dusty ground and feel that wave of heat that screams of equator humidity. i’m ready for my world to be shaken, for my thoughts to be challenged, and for freedom to be awaken, but most of all I’m ready for the people, the community, the beauty, and a dream to be realized. the dream of africa….
